50 MMSCFD
Processing Capacity
Fifty million standard cubic feet per day of gas conditioning, separation and modular refining throughput.
Ota Miri Energy Limited is developing a 50 MMSCFD midstream modular refining facility for LPG, LNG and CNG — with a 24 MW turbine power plant — at the Orashi Special Energy Free Zone, Oguta, Imo State.
Wet associated (flare) gas captured from upstream operations.
Non-associated gas, drawn only when flare gas is scarce.
A single midstream complex converting stranded and flared gas into domestic LPG, LNG and CNG supply, plus grid-grade electricity for the Orashi Special Energy Free Zone.

24 MW
A dedicated gas turbine plant supplying reliable baseload electricity to the facility and industrial tenants in the zone.
24 Months
Estimated delivery timeline from conclusion of agreements with our foreign technical and financial partners.
The facility sits inside a designated energy free zone at Oguta, Imo State — giving the project fiscal incentives, dedicated industrial land and direct access to the gas gathering network of the Niger Delta.
Modular design means the plant is fabricated in skids and assembled on site, cutting construction risk and allowing capacity to be added as feedstock volumes grow.
Every thousand cubic feet we capture is gas that no longer burns into the air above Oguta and the surrounding delta communities.
Routine flaring is eliminated at source. Captured methane is processed into useful product instead of vented or burned, cutting the carbon intensity of upstream operations.
Reduced acid rain, soot and airborne particulates protect respiratory health in host communities, while cleaner air and water support the restoration of farmland, creeks and mangrove.
Construction, operations, maintenance and logistics roles for Imo State and the wider Niger Delta, with technical training for local operators and artisans.
A structured joint venture with international partners channels foreign direct investment into Nigeria's gas value chain, with transparent governance and reporting.
Reliable gas and power on site attract manufacturing, agro-processing and logistics tenants to the Orashi zone, building a genuine industrial cluster around the plant.
Domestic LPG, LNG and CNG supply reduces reliance on imported cooking fuel and diesel, and puts cleaner, cheaper energy within reach of Nigerian households and industry.
Most gas processing plants are built around a single feedstock source, and they run below capacity the moment that source tightens. Ota Miri Energy is designed around two.
We primarily capture wet associated gas — the flare stream — and draw on non-associated gas only when flare gas is scarce. The result is a plant that holds 100% throughput year-round, protecting both project economics and the environmental case for the facility.
Wet associated gas is gathered from upstream flare points and routed to the facility.
Modular trains remove condensate, water and impurities, stabilising the gas stream.
Gas is fractionated and processed into LPG, LNG and CNG product lines for sale.
Residual and dedicated volumes fuel the 24 MW turbine plant for the zone and grid.
